Description
Here is a very rare specimen featuring chalcopyrite var. blister copper from Tonglushan Copper Mine, near Daye, Hubei Province, China. The chalcopyrite has formed 2 spherical crystals that have naturally fused together to create a very aesthetic presentation. The crystals have a slightly iridescent palette showing brassy, dark copper, and blueish purple hues. The surface of the spheres is made up of tiny crystals and the luster allows them to sparkle a bit! These specimens came from a very small find in late 2018 to early 2019 and are almost impossible to find these days. A well balanced and unique specimen!Dimensions: 2.9 by 1.55 by 1.5 cm
