    Albite on Sodalite (Var: Hackmanite) - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada

    ( 3/4 x 3/4 x 3/4 inches)
    Tiny pale pink Albite crystals completely coating a single dodecahedral crystal of Hackmanite. Also present are tiny yellowish Calcite crystals.
    An orange glow can be seen through the Albite crystals when the Hackmanite fluoresces under long wave ultraviolet light.
